8.29.2013 A Note from the Editor

In response to recent inquiries about some of the links posted here and on the Sister News Facebook page:
Sister News is meant as a place where links to news, opinion and info about American Catholic sisters and nuns is gathered. Its purpose is to inform, in the belief that there is value in knowing what all the different perspectives are, even if some of them elicit uncomfortable feelings. That keeps us (all) from living only in our own little echo chamber, and inevitably enlarges our views. In the judgment of your friendly Sister News editor, this kind of stretching can only be a good thing.
I appreciate all who follow this page and contribute suggestions and insights. Thanks for reading and participating.
